Membrane filter tips
- For this purpose, the water obtained from membrane filter washing or distilled water is usually used.
- In advanced systems, the PLC reports the exact flashing time.
- When pressing and discharging the membranes, the maximum allowable amount is used, and if the pressure drops, the membranes are damaged.
- During the flashing process, the pressure drop must be taken into account twice.

Workflows 8-inch membrane filter BW30 Pro-400
To prevent damage to reverse osmosis membranes under pressure, the 8-inch BW30 Pro-400 membrane filter avoids sudden or cross-replacement of elements during installation, malfunctions, membrane flushing, or other factors. During commissioning of the reverse osmosis system, the entire system adapts to its place in the process cycle from the outset as follows :
- The inlet pressure of the 8″ BW30 Pro-400 membrane filter system should be increased gradually at intervals of 30-60 seconds.
- The cross flow velocity should be changed gradually over 15–20 seconds at a given value.
